Our campus phones have been replaced with the new GoTo system. Below are some basic instructions for you to start using it.com/goto-connect-basics-short-lessons . A quick start on using your cell phone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b1Kton_2jo
- Most extensions remain the same except for a few that needed to be changed - we should be sharing the updated directory soon.
- Note, the phone itself has an up to date directory built in, you can access it by selecting Directories > Contact directory > press Select (use the middle round button to select) > use up and down buttons to scroll through directory (there is also Search button to search for extension) > press Select > press Dial and the phone will ring that extension. This works on every phone.

- To use your phone, directly dial 3-number extensions or external numbers (415-xxx-xxxx)
- Your voicemail passcode by default is 0000 (+press # sign), please change it at your earliest convenience. Push Home button > Messages > Select > Connect, then enter passcode and follow the menu prompts. -- Also, change your greetings while you change your passcode.
- Your laptop and iPad devices should now have the GoTo app remotely installed. Start it and authenticate with your Google account (SSO login or Login with Google). There is also a GoTo app for both Android and iPhone phones if you wish to install it.
- Your account also includes GoToMeeting, a very similar service to Zoom, except you have a full licence with unlimited length of meeting duration time. It is also fully synced with your Google calendar, you can find it as a GoTo "G" button on the right side, see screenshot below. You will need to give permissions (it is safe) and authenticate it with your school Google account, then you'll be able to add GoTo meetings instead of Zoom (I'll be sharing more details on its use later this week).
